Yay! I survived Wisdom teeth Remove- Surgery Day

March 3, 2016

I arrived to the oral surgeon office at 11am and I was anxious to get this procedure over with. I was hungry due the fact I did not eat anything since 9pm last night. The receptionist asked me to fill out a couple of paperworks. Once I finished, not even 3 mins of sitting down. The nurse called me in and took me in a small cozy room.

As I laid on chair, she began to ask a couple questions about my health history.  Then nurse hook me with a heart monitor on me, a blood pressure cuff on my left hand, and IV on my right arm. Within 10 mins in the chair  The Surgeon came in. He ask me what he’s doing in todays visit. I told him that i get 4 wisdom teeth remove 2 top that are grown out and the bottom two are impacted. Then the anesthsia kicked in and bamm I was out. Then I woke up an 45 mins later with gauze jammed in both sides of my mouth. My face was swollen and numb. I was soo glad my wisdom teeth are out!

Then the nurse talked to my older sister about what medication that I wil be taking, how I should care for my mouth, and what type of foods I should be eating.

After 10 mins. I was finally able to go home with my family ❤ I took a quick nap once I arrived home. It was soo nice. Then when I woke up  removed my gauze and I was able to eat some applesauce and baby food.  😀 Once I finished  I had to put a new gauze in my mouth (every 30-40mins)  Until the bleeding stop.

So pretty much I’ve been staying in bed watching netflix and reading a lot of books, taking my medication, icing my face to reduce swelling and eating baby foods <3.

Now I’m getting sleepy haha, So Good night everyone! 😀
