Fibroadenoma: Part One

About ten months ago I found a lump on my right breast. Last week, I made a doctor appointment for Tuesday 10/27/2015. The reason why It took me ten months to make an appointment was that I was afraid to know what it was. With my anxiety, I tend to think the worst of everything. One of the biggest things that I thought it was cancer.

The day before my appointment, I was not able to sleep because there was a lot of things going through my mind. My appointment was at 8:30am. I slept in for a bit when I woke up, I realized that I had to get ready as soon as possible.

When I arrived at the doctor office, I checked in with the receptionist. About 10 mins later, the nurse called my name.

The doctor came to examine me. She told me that it could be either a cyst or fibroadenoma. Just to make sure its nothing serious. She wanted me to get do more test. Later that day, the hospital called me to set up my an ultrasound and also a mammogram appointment- Yikes!

But yeah, I’ll keep ya posted with what the results are for the ultrasound/mammogram.  I just hope it’s not too serious.
